They are designed for MPO-LC LGX module cassettes which are terminated with MPO and LC/SC/FC/ST connector on each end.
MPO breakout cables are terminated with a female or male MTP/MPO connector on one end and a LC, FC, SC, or ST connectors on the other end. Typically, these breakout cables are ideal for short-range 10G-40G and 25G-100G direct connections. MPO stands for Multifiber Termination Push On.
